This is actually better quality than my VHS version. Enjoy Chris Reeve as Prince Charming (although I cannot think of anything but the Adam Ant song as I type it ;)

"Faerie Tale Theatre" - Sleeping Beauty (1983) TV episode .... Prince

Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7.

Reeve actually plays two characters in this, but to say which other character might spoil it for those who haven't seen it. I'll post screen caps later in the week.

Not sure I like the title, but there is a new book to be published on Christopher and Dana Reeve in July:

Somewhere in Heaven: The Remarkable Love Story of Dana and Christopher Reeve (Hardcover)
by Christopher Andersen (Author)

Hardcover: 352 pages
Publisher: Ebury Press (3 Jul 2008)
Language English
ISBN-10: 0091927668
ISBN-13: 978-0091927660

Synopsis
'Dana is my life force' - Christopher. 'Chris is simply the greatest person I have ever known. He's more than the love of my life. He's my best friend' - Dana. He was a hero in every sense of the word - the chiselled-from - granite star of four blockbuster "Superman" films and the romantic classic "Somewhere in Time" who, after being paralysed from the neck down in a freak horseback riding accident, battled back to become a symbol of hope for millions. Dana Reeve was no less heroic, standing steadfastly by her husband's side until his surprisingly sudden and unexpected death at age 52. When Dana, a non-smoker, passed away from lung cancer just 17 months after Christopher's death, she left behind their 13-year-old son, Will, to be raised by friends and family. Dana was only 44 years old. That fate could have dealt such a cruel hand to this golden couple seemed unfathomable. That they could endure it all with grace, courage and humour defied belief. Yet for all the millions of words that have been written about their public causes and private struggles following Christopher's accident, little is known about the lives they led as passionate young lovers.
Now Christopher Andersen draws on those who knew them best to examine in touching detail the Reeves' unique partnership and the romance, faith and fortitude that defined it. Sometimes heartbreaking, often uplifting, always compelling, "Somewhere in Heaven" is more than just a portrait of a marriage. It is the profoundly human story of two souls whose brief lives made a difference, a bittersweet saga of tragedy, triumph and loss, and - above all else - a love story for the ages.

Hello and welcome to Still Me - a community for all things Christopher Reeve EXCEPT for the Superman movies.

The founder and moderator is dj_intheuk who has been a lifelong fan of Christopher Reeve. Like most people I discovered the actor through Superman but the man himself also became a huge influence on my life, particularly after reading Reeve's autobiography Still Me after which this community is named.

There are a number of Superman related communities on Livejournal - all well and good. It's nearly impossible, however, to find a place for discussion of Reeve's huge body of work outside of the Man of Steel, so reeve_stillme is the place to post discussion (meta or just plain fangirling), fanfiction, fanart, icons/graphics, pictures, quotes etc. This includes info/discussion on his work in theatre, writing, activism and speeches. You may post Superman related content only if it refers to an opinion/quote by Reeve himself (he often talked about the character), or if it relates to his role in Smallville. For anything else relating to the Reeve Superman movies please post at reeveverse

Posting Policy

All large pictures and NSFW (not safe for work) content must be under an lj-cut. If you don't know how to do this, click here.

If you're posting icons, please use two or three preview icons - no more - and put the rest under a cut or a link. If you're posting fanfiction, tell us the title, rating, etc. and put the fic under a cut or a link.

No spamming. If you want to promote a community, ask here first. If you are the moderator of another community at Livejournal and you wish to affliate please ask here.

No flaming or trolling. Arguments are a form of discussion, of course - just use your best judgment. NOTE: It is well known that Christopher Reeve was an advocate for the support of stem cell research and had stong opinions on the subject of disability. Such issues can often cause heated debate. Should such discussions take place in this community please respect eachothers' opinions. I will delete any posts I consider to be inappropriate or to be in bad taste.

Questions and Problems
